Bio
Born and raised in North Carolina, Gerald has been in the arts for most of his life in one form or another. Starting at a young age it was realized by his teachers and peers that his energetic nature and artistic eye were a perfect match for theater. He was included in many community theater programs and school plays. As an accomplished fine artist at an early age he won many awards throughout his primary and secondary school days. He had a short stint in college, but no longer could bare sitting behind a desk and went out in the world to see what was out there. Gerald was discovered first by an Improvisational Theater Group and instantly impressed the director and cast mates with his eagerness to learn and his odd sense of humor. After a three year run with The Boobonic Comics, a celebrated troupe that was featured in the Big Stinkin' Improv Festival in Austin, they disbanded and Gerald was invited to be represented by Carolina Talent Modeling Agency. After doing runway shows and print, he found himself on the move again heading out west to Montana to work on a small four horse ranch for a winter, doing modeling jobs in Salt Lake City. Gerald decided to head back southeast to Atlanta. A few modeling jobs came here and there, but it became obvious to him that he was missing something. He headed back to North Carolina for a couple of years and then grabbed a train to New York City. In his ten years living in the City he worked in film, television, print and new media. He was also given the opportunity to direct and produce a few short films, winning a Golden Ace Award for Directing on his debut film. Since 2014, Gerald met his wife. He has had a whirlwind of opportunities working in Canada from everything to a house painter to Sea kayak guide to trailblazer......
